A company is building a minimum viable product (MVP). How can the project manager help ensure the company delivers a high-quality product?

The project manager's role in an MVP context is to facilitate the delivery of a product that meets its intended purpose effectively. Determining quality metrics and recommending improvements directly supports this by establishing measurable standards for success and identifying pathways to achieve them. This proactive approach ensures that quality is built into the product from the outset, rather than being an afterthought. Partnering with a third-party vendor or hiring a quality engineering leader are valid strategies for quality, but they are resource-intensive and might not be the most agile or immediate solutions for an MVP. While a product manager is responsible for product quality, simply asking them to dedicate more time isn't a concrete action or a project management responsibility for ensuring quality; the project manager needs to define how quality will be achieved and measured.
