A new application must run on five EC2 instances in a single Region. The application requires very high throughput and low-latency network connectivity between all instances. There is no need for fault tolerance. Which deployment meets these networking requirements?

A cluster placement group places instances close together within a single Availability Zone, maximizing network throughput and minimizing latency, which directly addresses the "very high throughput and low-latency network connectivity" requirement. Enhanced networking further boosts network performance. Launching in an Auto Scaling group within the same AZ doesn't guarantee the necessary close proximity for ultra-low latency, and additional ENIs don't inherently improve inter-instance latency. A partition placement group distributes instances across different racks to reduce correlated failures, which is not needed here and would increase latency. A spread placement group places instances on distinct underlying hardware to minimize correlated failures, also increasing latency and not meeting the throughput/latency requirements.
