Mentoring is an effective strategy for developing team members, especially when there's a mix of experience levels. It fosters knowledge transfer, improves skills, and builds team cohesion, ultimately benefiting project performance. Asking less-experienced members to follow instructions exactly limits their growth and problem-solving abilities. While reviewing work is important, it's a quality control measure, not a development strategy. Replacing team members is a last resort and often impractical; it also neglects the opportunity to build internal capability.
