Reprioritizing work based on current risk assessments allows the team to adapt quickly, focus on the most critical items, and mitigate threats proactively. This approach aligns with agile principles of adaptability and continuous improvement. Developing an agile risk matrix is a tool, but not the overarching strategy. A Scrum risk retrospective at the end of the project is too late for proactive mitigation in a high-uncertainty environment. Assigning an agile risk manager might be helpful, but the core strategy remains constant evaluation and adaptation, which is a team responsibility, not solely one person's.
