As a servant leader, the project manager's role is to support the team and stakeholders, enabling their success. Providing resources to train stakeholders on the new technology directly addresses their lack of understanding, fostering better engagement and decision-making. Escalating to senior management without first attempting a solution is premature and avoids the project manager's responsibility. Asking the sponsor to remove stakeholders is adversarial and counterproductive to collaboration. Requiring stakeholders to fund their own training shifts the project's responsibility to them and can create resentment, hindering project success.
