Azure Storage Explorer is the correct tool because it allows you to view, copy, and manage the diagnostic logs stored in a blob container within your Azure Storage account. When diagnostic logging is enabled for a storage account, the logs are written as blobs to a designated container (often named $logs) within that same storage account. Azure Storage Explorer provides a direct interface to browse and interact with these blobs. Azure Security Center (now Microsoft Defender for Cloud) provides security posture management and threat protection, but it doesn't directly retrieve raw diagnostic logs from storage accounts. Azure Monitor collects and analyzes metrics and logs from various Azure resources, and while it can ingest storage logs for analysis, it's not the primary tool for retrieving them directly from the storage account's blob container.
