After updating LAG configuration on a Cisco WLC, which additional task must be performed when changes are complete?

After modifying Link Aggregation Group (LAG) settings on a Cisco Wireless LAN Controller (WLC), a reboot is mandatory for the changes to take effect. The WLC's network stack needs to be reinitialized to properly recognize and utilize the new LAG configuration. Flushing MAC addresses is not required as LAG changes affect the physical port bundling, not learned MAC entries. Re-enabling interfaces alone won't apply the LAG configuration because the underlying network services need a full restart. Re-associating the WLC with access points is also unnecessary; APs will automatically re-establish connections after the WLC reboots and its network services are restored.
