An acquired company's VPC RFC1918 ranges overlap your datacenter IP space. You must enable connectivity without routing conflicts. What should you do?

When IP address ranges overlap, direct routing is impossible due to conflicts. Network Address Translation (NAT) is the standard solution for this scenario. By deploying NAT, the overlapping IP addresses from the acquired company's VPC can be translated into a non-overlapping range before traffic is routed to your datacenter. This allows both networks to communicate without requiring a costly and disruptive re-IPing effort. Renumbering IP addresses (option 1) is a valid but often impractical solution for large networks. Custom route advertisements (option 3) or firewall rules (option 4) would block traffic to the overlapping space, preventing connectivity rather than enabling it.
