An agile project is in its second iteration of six. A key stakeholder (marketing director) requests a high-level project report. What should the project lead do?

The project lead should develop the requested report based on available iteration information. In agile, transparency and stakeholder collaboration are key. Providing a report, even if high-level, demonstrates responsiveness and keeps the stakeholder informed, fostering trust. Asking the product owner to create the report might delay the response and is the project lead's responsibility to facilitate. Explaining that indicators are reported by iteration or stating a new report will be produced later might be perceived as unhelpful or dismissive, potentially frustrating the stakeholder. The project lead should proactively meet stakeholder needs when possible, using current, readily available data.
