An Azure Private Link service PL1 is fronted by an Azure Load Balancer named LB1. PL1 needs to support a larger volume of outbound connections. What change will increase PL1's outbound capacity?

Increasing the number of NAT IP addresses assigned to PL1 is the correct solution. Azure Private Link Service uses Source Network Address Translation (SNAT) to translate outbound connections from the service consumer to the service provider. Each unique SNAT IP address can support a finite number of concurrent outbound connections. By adding more NAT IP addresses, you increase the pool of available SNAT ports, thereby expanding the outbound connection capacity of the Private Link service. Increasing frontend IP configurations on LB1 does not directly affect the outbound capacity of the Private Link service. Deploying an Application Gateway is irrelevant to the outbound capacity of the Private Link service itself. Redeploying LB1 with a different SKU would not inherently increase the outbound connection capacity of the Private Link service.
