Before answer engines can utilize your content, they must first be able to find and process your website pages. This foundational step involves crawling (discovering pages) and indexing (understanding and storing information from those pages). Without successful crawling and indexing, your content remains invisible to search engines and, consequently, to answer engines. Verifying brand authority, evaluating content quality, and confirming expertise through backlinks are all important for ranking and trust, but they are subsequent steps that occur after the content has been found and processed.
