Cisco Unified Wireless Networks utilize Radio Resource Management (RRM) to optimize wireless performance. RRM continuously monitors the RF environment, including client load, interference (background noise), and signal strength. Based on this analysis, it dynamically adjusts access point (AP) channels and power levels to minimize co-channel interference and maximize network capacity. This ensures efficient use of the available spectrum, especially in areas with overlapping Wi-Fi coverage. Assigning channels per device or interface is not a standard RRM function. Segregating devices by manufacturer is irrelevant to channel assignment.
