HubSpot uses three standard ways to group records depending on the goal: a quick record view, a dynamic segment, and a fixed snapshot segment. In current HubSpot terminology, these are saved views , active segments , and static segments . An active segment updates automatically as records start or stop meeting the criteria, while a static segment preserves membership at the time it is created and saved.
