If multiple AP-Manager interfaces exist on a WLC, how does an AP choose which to use?

When multiple AP-Manager interfaces are configured on a Wireless LAN Controller (WLC), an Access Point (AP) will attempt to join the AP-Manager interface that currently manages the fewest number of APs. This load-balancing mechanism ensures that the workload is distributed efficiently across the available AP-Manager interfaces, preventing any single interface from becoming a bottleneck and improving overall WLC performance and stability. The AP does not disable WLAN ports based on discovery responses, nor does it require static configuration after a failed join request in this scenario. While an AP does receive responses from AP-Manager interfaces, it doesn't simply choose the first one; it intelligently selects based on load.
