If the intelligent proxy becomes unreachable, what occurs?

When the intelligent proxy becomes unreachable, grey-listed domains are unresolved. Grey-listed domains are those that are categorized as potentially malicious or suspicious, and the intelligent proxy is responsible for their resolution and enforcement. If the proxy is down, these domains cannot be properly evaluated, leading to them being unresolved. Block-listed domains are typically handled by local policies or cached information, so their resolution is less dependent on the intelligent proxy's real-time availability. The Cisco Umbrella Connector does not locally resolve DNS requests for grey-listed domains in this scenario; its primary function is to forward requests to Umbrella. Redirecting HTTPS traffic is not a direct consequence of the intelligent proxy being unreachable for domain resolution.
