Upgrading an existing Dedicated Interconnect to 100 Gbps might increase bandwidth but doesn't inherently improve redundancy or security isolation as much as a separate, additional connection. Adding three Cloud VPN tunnels is less suitable for business-critical applications requiring high throughput and low latency, as VPNs are typically lower bandwidth and higher latency than Dedicated Interconnect.
