It fosters a supportive environment and helps identify specific areas for coaching or intervention. Adjusting the WIP limit might be a solution, but it's premature without understanding why work isn't moving. Simply changing the limit without addressing underlying problems won't resolve the core issue. Considering alternative performance metrics doesn't address the current problem of stalled work. Discussing performance with senior leadership is an escalation that should only occur after attempting to resolve the issue directly with the team members involved.
