What feature collects company-specific data such as Member Status?

Custom dimensions and custom metrics are like default dimensions and metrics in your Analytics account, except you create them yourself. You can use them to collect and analyze data that Analytics doesn't automatically track. Custom dimension is user-defined descriptive attribute or characteristic of data. Custom dimensions can be used to describe data not included in the default dimensions in Analytics. To track company related data the best solution is to set up custom dimension. Tip: Custom dimensions and metrics can’t be deleted once created, but you can return to these settings in your account to manage and edit them. To stop using an existing custom dimension, uncheck the Active box, and click Save.
