This allows developers to focus solely on their application code without managing the underlying infrastructure. IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) provides virtualized computing resources over the internet, such as virtual machines, storage, and networking. While IaaS gives users control over the OS, it does not include app hosting tools as a core offering; those are typically installed by the user. IaaS also requires the user to configure the OS, unlike PaaS. Both IaaS and PaaS involve hardware provisioning by the cloud provider, but PaaS specifically abstracts away the management of the OS and runtime from the user.
