What kind of data does Azure Monitor Logs collect?

Azure Monitor Logs collects application usage data, which includes performance metrics, events, and diagnostic information from various Azure resources and applications. This allows for detailed analysis of application behavior, troubleshooting, and security auditing. While Azure Monitor also collects numeric metrics, Logs specifically refers to the detailed, often text-based, records of activity.
