Which AWS service provides a single endpoint and distributes incoming web traffic across multiple EC2 instances?

An Application Load Balancer (ALB) is a layer 7 load balancer that distributes incoming application traffic across multiple targets, such as EC2 instances, in multiple Availability Zones. It operates at the application layer, allowing for advanced routing based on content of the request. This ensures high availability and fault tolerance for web applications. VPC endpoints allow private connections from your VPC to supported AWS services and VPC endpoint services powered by PrivateLink, but they don't distribute traffic to EC2 instances.
