Who can use Managed Google Accounts?

Managed Google Accounts are designed for organizations that need to manage user identities and access to Google services. Both Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) and Cloud Identity provide the necessary infrastructure for this. Google Workspace offers a comprehensive suite of productivity and collaboration tools, including email, calendar, and document editing, with integrated identity management. Cloud Identity, on the other hand, is a standalone Identity as a Service (IDaaS) solution that provides identity and access management capabilities without the full suite of Google Workspace applications. Therefore, organizations using either platform can leverage Managed Google Accounts to control user access and device management. Organizations on an "allow list for Google Play" is not a criterion for using Managed Google Accounts. While Google Workspace alone is a correct subset, Cloud Identity also enables this functionality, making the combined option more accurate.
