With PortFast enabled on an access port, which STP state does the port enter?

When PortFast is enabled on an access port, the port immediately transitions to the forwarding state, bypassing the listening and learning states. This is because access ports are typically connected to end devices (like workstations or servers) that don't create switching loops. Skipping the usual STP convergence delay allows end devices to connect to the network much faster. Without PortFast, the port would cycle through listening and learning states for 15 seconds each (by default) before entering forwarding. Blocking is a state where the port drops frames and does not forward them, used to prevent loops.
