To establish a Partner Interconnect connection, you must first initiate the process from the Google Cloud side. Creating a Partner Interconnect VLAN attachment in the GCP Console generates a pairing key, which is essential for your chosen service provider to connect your on-premises network to Google Cloud. This key acts as a unique identifier that the partner uses to provision their end of the connection. Logging in to the partner portal and requesting a VLAN attachment (incorrect option) is a step that happens after you provide them with the pairing key. Asking your Interconnect partner to provision the physical connection (incorrect option) is also premature; they need the pairing key to know what to provision. Running gcloud compute interconnect attachments partner update (incorrect option) is used to modify an existing attachment, not to create a new one.
