Views in Azure Artifacts allow you to control the visibility of packages within a feed. You can promote packages through different views (e.g., Development, Release, Production) as they mature. This enables you to share packages at various stages of development while restricting access to those that are not yet ready for broader consumption, all within a single feed. Local symbols and global symbols are related to debugging and do not manage package visibility or access. Upstream sources allow a feed to consume packages from other feeds or public registries but do not control internal package visibility within the feed itself.
